Chix-Chox is a traditional Cypriot restaurant providing everything that is good about Cyprus food, wine and hospitality. Located in the hub of Polis Square, Chix-Chox is a family business and you are sure to receive a very warm welcome from Andreas and his excellent team.
Their cuisine consists of dishes very rich in taste and unique in specialities and local favourites include; Meze, a rich collection of many small dishes of food – meat or fish, Moussaka, minced meat and eggplant topped with creamy bechamel sauce and Souvlakia, kebabs of pork, lamb or chicken. Chix-Chox also offers a wide range of british favourites too, including the best steaks in the area! The restaurant is very child friendly as are most Cypriot establishments and the service is efficient and always very friendly. As for wines, the local offerings are superb and many are supplied from the numerous local wineries of the region, but a good range of international wines can also be found here and Andreas will be delighted to offer his expert knowledge on the choices available.
In the summer months in particular, the restaurant represents the very heart beat of this busy square and there is nothing quite like enjoying the local fare, whilst listening to traditional music in a very entertaining and relaxed atmosphere. Chix-Chox is also an excellent venue for a celebratory evening, where a birthday cake for example can be organised with the staff!
Chix-Chox is highly recommended and is almost certain to be a frequent return venue for many guests.
